New treatments that help people to live longer, experience less pain or be free of disability are only possible because of the willingness of the people to participate in clinical researches and trials. There is a continuing need for both healthy and those diagnosed with diseases or conditions to participate in these trials to help researchers find new ways on how to diagnose, prevent, treat or cure these conditions, diseases and disabilities. If there are more people willing to be involved in clinical researches and trials, this may reduce the time it takes to make new treatments and interventions available for more people.

You can contribute to the advancement of scientific knowledge and improve your health, as well as that of others with the same condition or disease by taking part in a clinical research or trial.
The Community Research of South Florida conducts high-quality clinical researches and trials and we have vast information and knowledge plus the expertise that has helped improve health care within our community.

If you are a healthy person, you may still choose to become a participant of a clinical research in order to help other people and contribute to the improvement of health care within the community.

Your participation can also help in the advancement of scientific knowledge. There are also healthy people who have personal interests in the specific trial or research or they may know a friend or family member suffering from the disease or condition that the trial or research is being conducted for. And, as any volunteer work, clinical trials and researches are a good way to give back to the community. Although it is a selfless act of kindness, potential participants should think carefully about the demands on their time and also the risks and benefits of volunteering for a clinical trial or research.

If you are a patient participant with a disease or condition, you may decide to participate in a clinical research or trial in order to get a better understanding, better treatment or potentially a cure for your disease or condition. There are also cases when clinical trials or research may provide access to the latest interventions to a condition before they are made available to the public. You would also be able to receive the highest quality care and benefit from the additional support and attention that our clinical trial staff will provide you during the research.
